Teknel provided a Mobile Control Tower to support the flight activities of the Grottaglie Aircraft Station of the Marina Militare (Italian Navy). The tower will be used on the grounds of the military base during flight crew training activities, or outside the airport during field operations.
The shelter with its maximum height of 8 mt, is equipped with VoIP terminals, from which it is possible to control the radios in the VHF/AM, VHF/FM, UHF and HF bands, installed inside the cabin itself.
From the same terminals it is possible to manage a Public Address system which allows communication with the external areas in front of the tower.
